Magic is a complicated affair on the continent, seen by many as something that shouldn't be attempted by mortal men, but should be left instead to the high-ranked and wisest.
Known Energies Edit
Magic in each of the Kingdoms Edit
- Aurona- Aurona, for the most part, does not use magic, and it is rare for anybody, noble or not to begin training to be a Wielder. Despite this, the Wheel of Aurona, an object infused with magic lies at the center of Auronian life, religion and even politics.
- Royal Rock- As Royal Rock was once a target of the Lyllian Conquest, during which magic was outlawed by King Renfry Skytower, magic-users are rare everywhere but the Cathedral in Beacon Keep, where a select group of Wielder Monks serve the monarchy. A Necromancer also resides in the remains of Hallow Pillar, but this is due to the sheer amount of death energy radiating from the Field of Crows.
- Viridell- Magic is not uncommon in the kingdom of Viridell; low-level Wielders learn to harness a variety of energies as tricks to earn money in the streets. Further up north, at the Lunar Plexus on Crescent Island, the Crescent Sisterhood harnesses "The Power of the Goddess" :various unknown energies, in combat and in prayer. Wielder Monks have also known to reside in cities such as Wysteria, where they are welcomed by House Thornister.
- Sa-Arian Empire-
- The Frostfinger-
- The Mistlands-
